Simple Counter

Simple Counter is free and simple counter app designed for counting things and keeping track of numbers. Simple Counter can be accessed directly on the net or easily installed onto desktop or mobile devices as a Progressive Web App.

I created Simple Counter when I was involved with an exhibition that needed a way to keep track of the amount of people in the exhibition space. Like a virtual click counter. I then decided to make Simple Counter available for anyone who needs a simple tool to count the number of people in a room, venue, or given space.

Curiously, I have received a lot of positive feedback from users of this app and it seems that people have been using Simple Counter to count all sorts of things, from stitches to mantras. My favorite comment being:

“Counted 1186 pogo stick hops for my son!”.

That’s a lot of hops. - When I was first building Simple Counter and working out the responsive sizes for the numbers etc I only designed for triple digits. I never would have expected someone to count over 1,000!

Otherwise I’m just happy that people have found Simple Counter useful. I also have a more sophisticated version currently under development. 😊
